Dry Needling & Acupuncture

Effective, targeted treatment to relieve pain and stiffness, drawing on both Western medicine and traditional acupuncture.

Acupuncture works on specific meridian points in the body, using fine needles to improve symptoms and restore balance. Dry needling takes a more modern, anatomical approach — targeting precise pressure points and muscle “knots” to release tension and trigger the body’s natural healing response.

Together, they give us a flexible toolkit to ease pain, relax muscles and speed up recovery — tailored to your condition.

What it helps with

  • Tight muscle knots and deep tension.
  • Tension headaches.
  • Sciatica-type and referred pain.
  • Sports injury and post-training recovery.

Reassurance: needles are fine, single-use and disposable, and most people feel only a mild sensation.

A chiropractic degree involves extensive training in anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, with particular emphasis on the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Chiropractors train full-time for five years where we learn medical diagnosis, radiography and radiology (apart from chiropractic skills). This means that we can accurately diagnose physical problems. We are primary care practitioners specialising in nerve, muscle and joint problems, but will refer you to another healthcare professional if necessary.
